Description: Descripcion del Estatus de los Límites Municipales==================================================Límite Decretado: Es un límite que el Centro Nacional de Registros formuló conjuntamente con las muncipalidades interesadas, basado en el procedimiento que describe el Art. 3, del Decreto Legislativo 2587, publicado en el Diario Oficial con fecha 13 de febrero de 1958, el cual posteriormente es Ratificado por la Asamblea Legislativa bajo un decreto.Límite Legal: Es un límite amparado por un acta o un documento que lo respalde, como lo esatblece el Art. 3, del Decreto Legislativo 2587, publicado en el Diario Oficial con fecha 13 de febrero de 1958. El acta contiene la descripción del límite, la fecha del recorrido, las personas que asistieron a la verificación y fundamentalmente las firmas y sellos de ambos alcaldes en funciones, cuando se realizo el reconocimiento del límite. Dando fe de que estaban conformes con el desarrollo del proceso. Las actas que se elaboraron despues de esta fecha no se consideran validas, a pesar de que llenen los requisitos exigidos, debido a que tendran que ser ratificadas por la Asamblea Legislativa, como lo estipula el Articulo 23 del Codigo Municipal, el cual entró en vigencia a partir del 1 de marzo de 1986.Límite Histórico Cartográfico: Es el trazo de un límite basado en la información cartografica, que nuestra institución guarda desde sus primeras publicaciones, pero que carece de un documento legal que lo ampare, o le de un fundamento jurídico. Generalmente viene de informacion cartográfica a escala 1:50,000Límite Consensuado: Es un límite que ha sido discutido por las municipalidades interesadas y se ha llegado a un acuerdo satisfactorio entre ellas, pero debido a trámites aún no ha sido elevado a "Límite Decretado" por la Asamblea Legislativa.
